What started as my advertisement for our new event series on a chalkboard in Dwell Antiques & Home store has now turned into creative workshops! I didn’t see that coming, but customers remarked that they wanted to learn to letter on chalkboards too. Could we show them how? ABSOLUTELY!
So here’s the latest scoop ~ the August workshop sold out right away but there are openings September 27 6-8 p.m. We’re opening up Dwell in the evening for private shopping and a chalk workshop. Fun details include wine, cheese and other yummies plus I’ll teach you about the design process of a chalkboard layout, supply you with everything you need, and walk you right on through this project from tip to toe. You’ll go home with this finished piece.
Workshop is $45 plus a $22 materials fee for the kit (no hunting down the materials all over town) and you’ll go home a chalk expert. Registering is easy by calling the store at 303-795-3454.
Stay tuned for an October and perhaps a November workshop ~ we’ll be adding color to our designs and some beautiful new fonts! Think Thanksgiving and Holiday chalk art to decorate your home when guests visit.
