As a watercolor artist and lover of all things meaningful and expressive, I work from my studio creating painterly greeting cards and art prints that celebrate a moment, touch a heart, or uplift the spirit and make someone’s day. You can find my work at Building Character in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
I call what I do “hopscotching,” because as an artist I love to skip freely and playfully from one thing to the next. I’m curious and constantly exploring new ways to make art that creates a connection between us. This includes lettering in the modern calligraphy style and watercoloring to dabbling in cross-stitch like my grandmother. I’m that person who has the box of greeting cards organized by month, because I love to think ahead about my friends and family all year long and create special sentiments just for them.
Happiness is spreading my love of art to others, so I try to be an “art encourager” by teaching creative workshops and hosting art parties. I help students tap into their inner artist, then go home with a masterpiece to call their own!
For me, art is a journey of exploration that never ends, and if you catch me in my color-filled home studio, you’ll find me exploring to my heart’s content, every moment I can.
